Jan Carlsen Matencio proved to be the strongest in the sole district of Binan and 1st district of Laguna

In the heart of Binan and the 1st district of Laguna, Jan Carlsen has risen to prominence with an impressive display of strategic brilliance and mental agility. With an impeccable record of 5/5 wins, Matencio demonstrated his unrivaled prowess, securing the championship title for the second consecutive time.

His victory was characterized by winning the critical game against contender 2nd placed Jeffrey Louise Magalang with his self-control and composure in the panic time with less than 1-min time on clock.

The tournament winners in the 3rd Binan Chess Association
