The tournament will feature many strong players, including Avazbek Ishbaev, Allan Cantonjos, Tyrone Delos Santos, Gary Legaspi, Larry Laurence Dumadag and many more.

The winners in the 1st BCA U16 Chess Tournament, mostly members of GMG Chess Club will join the tournament too, including the Champion Jan Carlsen Matencio, 2nd place Jeffrey Magalang and 3rd place Rotshen Hernando and many more.
The prizes up for grabs added an extra layer of allure. The top ten finishers would receive prestigious awards, with the first-place team claiming a sizable P20,000 purse + trophy + medals. Special prizes for top college and high school team. (see poster)
