Elcid Estaron wins the 5th Binan Chess Association 2000 below Chess Tournament 2025

In a stunning display of tactical prowess and unwavering focus, Elcid Estaron emerged victorious at The 5th Binan Chess Association 2000 below Chess Tournament 2025 last August 31, 2025 at Pavilion Mall, Binan. He clinched the championship title with an impressive score of 6/7 points.

Despite being late late and lost in the 1st round. His determination to win the tournament didn't vanished. He shown his unblemished record through the last six matches (6/6), with Zyrus Jim Perez, Kimberly Cuadrado, Kena Areld Galleguez, Ace Christian Alcira, Ranniel Ralf Lugo and Lucion Rommel.

The atmosphere was fully-airconed inside the Pavilion mall eagerly watching each move as strategies unfolded on the board. This event not only highlighted the competitive spirit of chess but also fostered a sense of community among players and fans alike. Many Thanks to Sir Robin Castaneda, Mam Erica Mae Catinding, Pavilion Mall staffs and management for providing us a great venue for this tournament. And expecting more players to join in our subsequent tournaments.

Again, thanks to more than 70 players and more than 100 including guardians, Pavilion Mall management and staffs and Binan Chess officers without all of you, this event can't become a successful tournament. See you all in our subsequent tournaments. Also, thanks to our Binan Chess members and students who continue supporting us!
Finishing the tournament, Elcid not only claimed the title but also cemented his status as a veteran player in the Philippines Chess. His outstanding achievement is a beacon of inspiration for fellow players and chess enthusiasts.

Chess has always been more than just a game to us; it is a journey of self-discovery, a test of character, and a source of endless fascination and joy
