Anatoly Pascua won 2nd GMG Chess Monthly Online 12-round Tournament
The 2nd GMG Chess Online Tournament finished in a 2-way tie result. Both, Anatoly Pascua and Ariel Santander have 10/12 points. But Anatoly secured the prize with superior tiebreak.
Throughout the tournament, Anatoly's speed, tactical skill, fighting spirit, resilience, determination and unwavering composure were evident in his gameplay. The 4 players (Anatoly, Ariel, Jerome and IM Nadera) had been fighting for the 1st in the last 2-round with all having 8 points, but both Anatoly and Ariel advanced to the final and win. In the end, Anatoly achieved the crown via superior tiebreak and received the cash prize of P2,500 + certificate. While, Ariel Santander placed second with P1,250 cash prize and certificate. Jerome Villanueva placed third with P750 cash prize and certificate.
